Royce rolled them until Isabel was sandwiched between both men. He was still unwilling to pull out. He loved being connected to her in the most basic primitive way.
Isabel lay weak, breathless, and limp, unable to do anything but draw air into her lungs.
Clay moved close against her back and wrapped an arm around her waist. “How are you doing, sweetheart?”
Isabel nodded. “Mmmmm.”
Both men chuckled.
Royce pulled out, turned to his back, and pulled Isabel on top of him. “I say we move the wedding date up.”
Isabel sleepily lifted her head. “No way. You promised me four months.” She poked a finger into his chest when he grumbled, then turned her head. “Clay, move closer, I’m cold.”
Clay snorted. “I’m stuck to your back already. How can I get any closer without being inside you?” He grunted when she looked farther over her shoulder and smiled hopefully. “No way. You’re so tired you can’t keep your head up. You don’t have the energy for another round, and frankly, I don’t either. You wiped us out.”
“Good,” she said and yawned. “I plan on doing that for the rest of my life.”
“Go to sleep, you two,” Royce growled.
Isabel snickered but let herself lay lax. Within a minute she could feel sleep drag her down into a restful abyss. “I love you guys.”
Both turned their head. Royce kissed her forehead and Clay her neck.
“I love you too, baby,” Royce said groggily.
“I love you so much. I can’t imagine my life without you.”
The men listened as Isabel’s breathing evened out and deepened. “Do you think she has any idea how much she really means to us or how big a part she is of our world?” Clay whispered against the back of her head.
Royce slid his fingers down her arm, then back up. “She’s definitely the biggest part, but we’ll have to keep showing her every day how important she is to us. I never understood how much loving a woman changes you.”
“As long as she and Tommy are happy, I’m happy.” Clay understood, and it humbled him and made him determined to protect them at all costs. He planted her one more kiss on her shoulder before closing his eyes.
